Responsibilities:

  1. Quality Assurance:

    • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles undergoing repairs to ensure adherence to established quality standards and specifications.
    • Identify and document any defects, imperfections, or deviations from required repair procedures.
  2. Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain detailed records of inspection findings, including photographs and written reports.
    • Prepare comprehensive documentation for management, technicians, and customers, outlining necessary corrective actions.
  3. Process Improvement:

    • Collaborate with the automotive repair team to identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective measures.
    • Provide feedback on repair processes to enhance overall efficiency and quality.
  4. Customer Communication:

    • Communicate inspection results to customers in a clear and professional manner.
    • Address customer concerns and inquiries related to the quality of repairs.
  5. Training and Development:

    • Provide training and guidance to technicians on quality standards, repair techniques, and industry best practices.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to continuously improve quality control processes.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in autobody repair quality control.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive repair processes, materials, and industry standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant tools and equipment used in automotive body repair.
  • Certification in quality control or a related field is a plus.
