MSA Outsourcing Solutions is currently seeking a knowledgeable and skilled Junior Web Developer to support one of our London-based clients. As a Junior Web Developer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to ensure the smooth operation of our client's systems and networks.

Responsibilities:

As the Junior Web Developer, you will be responsible for a broad range of IT support tasks. This includes contributing to the development of our software products and handling the day-to-day operations of our systems and end-user support. During the implementation of new cloud-based software, you will work closely with developers and teams across the company to implement, test, and deploy software solutions that streamline our processes and transform our way of working.

In the long term, you will play a key role in providing technical support within our company to ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems. You will be responsible for onboarding and offboarding new staff members, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, and providing assistance and guidance to end users. Additionally, you will ensure that the new system is maintained and optimized post-implementation to guarantee its reliability and efficiency.

You will also be tasked with maintaining and updating the company website to ensure our online presence remains fresh and relevant, as well as managing web hosting. This role offers an excellent opportunity to showcase your technical skills while working on exciting projects in a collaborative environment and contributing to the ongoing success of our IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Database System

  • Collaborate with the project team, developers, and internal change champions to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions using industry best practices.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues promptly.

General IT

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in software development.
  • Maintain internal IT systems in line with best practices.
  • Onboard new starters and offboard leavers.
  • Solve issues related to rapid growth.
  • Ensure systems are secure and swiftly address any security issues.

Web

  • Maintain and update our website (WordPress Elementor) to ensure fresh and relevant content.
  • Manage web hosting to keep it up-to-date, secure, and optimized for speed.
  • Implement SEO strategies to improve our website's search engine visibility and performance.

Requirements

  • Experience working with JavaScript or similar code.
  • Proficiency with complex formulas.
  • Comfortable working with data and performing data analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of Google Workspace.
  • Excellent communication skills via email and phone.
  • Experience with Adobe Design Suite is beneficial but not essential.
