Mine Manager

RPO Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Mine Manager to join our client's team in the mining industry. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of mining operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and profitability. You will work closely with a team of skilled professionals to develop and implement mine plans, manage mining activities, and optimize resource utilization. As a Mine Manager, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact and drive continuous improvement in the mining operations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement mine plans, considering safety, environmental impact, and economic factors
• Manage mining activities, including drilling, blasting, and hauling of materials
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote a culture of safety
• Monitor and assess operational performance, implementing strategies to optimize productivity
• Manage and lead a team of mining professionals, providing guidance and development opportunities
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize resource utilization and mine design
• Oversee budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience as a Mine Manager in the mining industry
• In-depth knowledge of mining operations and applicable regulations
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Proficiency in mining software and relevant tools
