Shift Millwright

Hire Resolve is currently seeking a skilled Shift Millwright to join their client's team in the mining industry. As a Shift Millwright, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment in a mining operation. You will work in shifts to ensure continuous operation and minimize downtime. Safety and adherence to protocols will be a top priority in this role.

• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• Repair or replace defective parts as necessary
• Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Trade Tested Millwright
• Minimum of years of experience as a millwright in the mining industry
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in shifts and adapt to changing schedules
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of mining safety regulations and procedures
