Spa Therapist

SPA THERAPIST (Live-in) - must be body therapies & massage confident

PILANESBERG - NORTH WEST PROVICE, South Africa

START: ASAP

REPORT: Spa Manager / General Manager

TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:

• Monday - Sunday including Public Holidays
• 08:00 - 17:00 including lunch break
• 3x weeks ON / 1x week OFF (rotate)
• Annual leave

REMUNERATION & BENEFITS:

• R5,500 BASIC per month
• Service Commission 10% from R1+
• Retail Commission 15% from R1+
• Single room in shared staff accommodation (furnished)
• Daily staff meal whilst on duty

QUALIFICATIONS & MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. South African citizen
2. Matric
3. N-Dip Somatology OR Health & Skin Care Diploma OR Cosmetology Diploma (minimum 2-year qualification)
4. CIDESCO / ITEC / SAAHSP / CIBTAC / City & Guilds

EXPERIENCE:

• At least TWO years (post graduation) employment experience in a day spa or high-end salon
• Cruise Ship experience is highly beneficial
• Previous live-in employment on a game farm / safari or destination spa

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

1. Skilled and confident to perform the following SPA treatments

• Skin Care and Facials 
• Body therapies (Massage, Body Wraps, Body Exfoliation, etc.) 80% of the requested therapies - MUST BE CONFIDENT
• Manicure & Pedicure services including Gel Polish application
• Waxing & Tinting
