Responsibilities

Elastic Clusters Management :

Deploy, configure, test, and troubleshoot Elastic clusters and environments. Maintain and upgrade Elastic clusters to ensure optimal performance and security.

Performance Monitoring and Metrics Analysis :

Perform daily performance monitoring for Elasticsearch clusters and environments. Create and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure system reliability.

DevOps/DevSecOps and CI/CD Implementation :

Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and streamline development processes. Ensure security best practices are followed throughout the DevOps processes.

Visualization and Analysis :

Develop visualizations and dashboards in Kibana to provide insights into system performance and usage. Conduct detailed analyses to support decision-making and strategic planning.

Collaboration and Communication :

Work closely with team members, management, assets, and journeys to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Utilize tools such as JIRA and Confluence for project management and documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related technical field

Essential skills

Elasticsearch and/or KAFKA- Hands-on experience and product knowledge of Elasticsearch and/or KAFKA. Cloud Platforms- Familiarity with cloud environments, specifically MS Azure and AWS. Enterprise Search Domain- Experience in the enterprise search domain and understanding of search architecture. DevOps/DevSecOps and CI/CD- Proven experience in implementing and managing DevOps/DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Visualization Tools- Experience in developing visualizations and dashboards, particularly in Kibana. Project Management Tools- Proficiency in using JIRA and Confluence for project tracking and collaboration.

Experience

3-5 years of relevant experience in system engineering
