Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Architecture and planning firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Site Architect in Pretoria, GP.

Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge and experience in Healthcare Design and Documentation
  • Programme monitoring with ongoing progress evaluation on all contracts.
  • To produce and co-ordinate statutory documentation, Department of Health, Site Development Plans and Building Plans
  • Produce working drawings, co-ordinated with other disciplines
  • Liaison with Clients and Consultants on a regular basis
  • Communication between Contractor, Sub-contractors and Suppliers. (In accordance with contract conditions and company principles)
  • Monitoring of Sub-contractor installations, progress and quality
  • Attend site meetings and quality control inspections to ensure problems are proactively identified and rectified so the project is not delayed
  • Management and co-ordination of monthly site management meetings per project.
  • Extension of time and cost claims
  • Conduct site inspections and monitor construction on behalf of Architect.
  • Regular communication with Senior Management on all aspects of project
  • Team player

Requirements

  • Master in Architecture (M.Arch/B.Arch obtained prior to 1998)
  • Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience (After Post grad)
  • Registered with SACAP
  • Advanced in use of Revit (certification of such preferable)
  • Complete B+P Revit Assessment with minimum 80% score
  • Advanced knowledge and history of council documentation and submission process
  • Advanced knowledge of technical detailing and construction documents
  • Advanced knowledge of site administration and project management
  • A high standard of communication skills and attention to detail required
  • A commitment to providing excellent client service through efficiency and the quality in production of work
  • Ability to work independently and in collaborative team environment
  • Sufficiently experienced to resolve problems and to make decisions when required
  • Plans and organises workflow and resources to ensure commitments and deadlines are met
  • Build working relationships in project team and with clients
  • Sets a positive example and displays visible loyalty to the company
