Loss Control Superintendent

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement loss control strategies and programs
• Monitor and evaluate safety performance to identify areas of improvement
• Conduct safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
• Develop and deliver training programs to promote safety awareness and compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety policies and procedures
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Safety Management
• SAMTRAC
• Train the Trainer
• Minimum of 5 years experience in SHEQ Management in the mining industry
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Relevant certification or degree in safety or related field
