Contract Duration: 6 months
Compensation: Hourly Rate

About the Role:
InfoBluePrint is seeking a highly skilled Senior BI Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in a high-priority Data Warehouse project. The project involves a new Enterprise Data Warehouse (SQL), the next phase of the project involves the extraction, transformation and loading of transaction data and product data into the New EDW, (enterprise data warehouse).Source systems are ERP systems which are based in Oracle, (JDE), DB2 & SQl.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business analysis, and worked as a BI Analyst in the past, particularly in high-pressure environments, and bring a deep understanding of financial data and ERP systems. A BI BA with deep data skills and an understanding of business administration and accounting is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expert Data analysis
  • Business Requirements Definition - Developing business requirements specifications including business and data rules, ETL specifications, data integration specifications, data mapping, business acceptance criteria,
  • Detailed testing, audits, control and reconciliation process definition - Design and execute rigorous testing procedures to validate data accuracy and system functionality.
  • Transaction data aggregation and linking to product as well as party data. Transactions will include sales orders purchase orders and related financials.
  • The definition of BI and analytics requirements.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of source data
  • BI Analytics :Analysis of source data from existing dashboards (Qlik View & Qlik Sense & Hyperian)
  • Obtaining business sign off on all business requirements and rules.
  • Obtaining business sign off on all related data aggregation views.
  • Working closely with the data architect as well as developers.
  • ETL using MS SSIS & Qlik Sense which is the Data Visualisation tool in use

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Formal Qualification in Business Analysis, A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, would be highly beneficial.
  • Industry Experience: Extensive experience in retail or manufacturing sectors, with a solid understanding of the industry's data needs.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency with SQL, and experience working with SAP or Oracle ERP systems, specifically Oracle JDE.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis and business requirement definition skills, with a focus on translating complex data into actionable insights.
  • Adaptability: Proven ability to perform under pressure, with a flexible approach to problem-solving in dynamic environments.
  • Team Collaboration: Strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

  • BI & Analytics: Familiarity with BI analytics, and data warehouse integration is highly advantageous. 
  • Sector-Specific Knowledge: Experience working within financial data, manufacturing sectors such as paper, plastics, packaging, and recycling.
