Senior Account Manager , you will manage a portfolio of 20–30 adviser practices and play a crucial role in strengthening and maintaining client relationships. Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer account management.
Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
Lead and resolve complex client challenges in collaboration with internal teams.
Ensure the timely delivery of management and payment reports.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve service delivery.
Maintain data accuracy and integrity.
Train, mentor, and support junior account managers.
Identify opportunities for process improvements.
Duties
Daily communication with clients to request and process bank and commission statements.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure data integrity.
Follow up with providers to obtain commission statements.
Manage unlinked items with clients and partners, ensuring all information is complete.
Conduct quality checks to align data with client expectations and guidelines.
Prepare and finalise client reports for specified periods.
Engage in follow-up meetings and correspondence to address corrections or evolving client needs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in finance or a related field (essential).
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a leadership position (essential).
Experience in South Africa’s financial services or financial planning industry (advantageous).
Proven expertise in managing large datasets.
Advanced Excel skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in a variety of software and tools.
Self-motivated and proactive, with a collaborative approach.
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organisational and administrative capabilities.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in
English
and
Afrikaans .
