TalentSync is currently seeking a motivated and technically skilled individual to join our team as a Junior IT Technician. As a Junior IT Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our employees, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and infrastructure. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the efficiency and productivity of our company's technology.


Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to employees, both in-person and remotely, for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems.
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining network and internet connections.
  • Perform regular maintenance and updates of IT systems and equipment.
  • Ensure the security and confidentiality of company information and data.
  • Assist in managing user accounts and permissions.
  • Document IT procedures and maintain accurate records of support activities.
  • Stay updated on advancements in IT technology and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to resolve complex technical issues.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or a degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Prior experience in a similar IT support role is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
  • Experience providing technical support to end-users.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving common hardware and software issues.
  • Good understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to handle multiple requests and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours as needed.
