Experience

  • Computer literate (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word – intermediate to advanced)

Responsibilities:

Reports:

  • Review expense reports to ensure that expenses are reasonable and appropriate.
  • Prepare reports for management regarding costs and expenses.
  • Conduct financial analysis and report on production.
  • Conduct product profit margin analysis (sales revenue vs. cost of sales, variable costs, and fixed costs).

Costs:

  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure that all costs are accurately tracked.
  • Conduct cost analysis to identify areas where costs can be reduced or eliminated.
  • Collect cost data from suppliers to track material costs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain the cost forecast.
  • Analyse and attribute variable and fixed costs to the respective cost accounts.

Stock admin, inventory, and account reconciliation:

  • Capture production transactions daily.
  • Participate in the annual physical inventory reconciliation and provide analysis and explanation for fluctuations in inventory balances.
  • Perform inventory and/or cost of sales account reconciliation

Key Skills and Expertise:

  • Takes on responsibility and accountability for tasks and actions
  • Make timely, informed decisions that consider the facts, goals, constraints, and risks
  • The ability to take in arrange of information, think things through logically and plan
