Role Headline

Responsibilities of the Role

·Ensurecompliant business conduct in respective LC ZA.

·Fostersdevelopment and implementation of practical solutions (together with business)to guarantee compliant business success in the region.

·Ensureadvice/guidelines get communicated in the "language" of business.

·Securescontinuous knowledge transfer into relevant entities.

·Drivesbusiness communication activities to promote Compliance and integrity for theregion.

·Representsown Compliance unit towards governmental officials, NGOs etc., regarding Compliance,Collective Action etc.

·Develop andexecute future oriented compliance requirements, reflecting Compliance riskmanagement needs in the business context.

·Advisebusiness on content and application of external and internal regulations in a rapidlychanging business environment and in the context of newly defined businessmodels, go to market approaches and digitalization.

·Monitorimplemented compliance standards and ensured continuous improvement ofdeveloped solutions to drive process and cost efficiency.

·Contributeto the development of the compliance organization in the sense of vision 2020+and in the continuous improvement of the Compliance system incl. processes and tools.

·Develop anddrive future-oriented collaboration models; collaborate with the global expertteams in Compliance to foster innovation across the organisation.

·Lead,develop, and coach the Compliance team members to fulfil their assignedresponsibilities.

·ManageStakeholder relationships (internal and external)

Qualifications and Experience

·A minimum of 8 + years’ experience in operatingbusiness responsibility, or 10 years’ experience in personnel and legal matters(specialist)

·Legal, Business Management or equivalent tertiary qualification

·Good understanding of the different businesseswithin the region

·Knowledge of the regulatory framework forsub-Saharan Africa.

·Proven leadership skills, self-driven changemanager, excellent communicator, trusted leader, and well organised

·Intercultural experience, that is the ability towork with international compliance network and senior management in business.

·Broad understanding of different business models,go to market approaches and business processes including support functions (atleast 4-5 years of Siemens experience)

·Proven change management record and ability torespond quickly to Innovations and new developments.
