Hire Resolve's client, a reputable mining company based in the North-West province, is looking for an experienced RPAS Coordinator to join their team.
Responsibilities:- Organize, plan, and execute UAS flights for surveying, monitoring, and mapping.
- Supervise data collection via drones and collaborate for analysis.
- Collate and submit UAS-related information.
- Coordinate waste calculations and manage aerial surveys.
- Provide expertise during Land Management Programs.
- Conduct safety meetings and risk assessments.
- Identify and report unauthorized usage of areas.
- Ensure adherence to aviation regulations and safety protocols.
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with drone operations.
- Import/export electronic information for data requests.
- Stay updated with UAS technological developments.
- Provide input for resource changes and needs.
- Communicate with relevant departments/stakeholders.
- Conduct/oversee training programs for drone personnel.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Chamber of Mines Advanced Certificate in Surveying/National Diploma in Mine Surveying
- Remote Pilot License
- BTech Degree would be Advantageous.
- 5 years' relevant experience.
- Valid Drivers License
