Project Admin Assistant

The PROJECT ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT will be responsible for a variety of administrative and project planning tasks. The Project Admin Assistant will help in planning and organizing projects as well as carrying out important operational duties within stringent timelines while maintaining the utmost quality of delivery.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating project schedules, resources, and information
- Communicating with stakeholders regarding project needs, scope and objectives
- Contributing to the planning and development of projects
- Research information to support other teams and departments as needed
- Keep track of and report on project progress
- Assist with schedule management
- Creating posts and sharing on social media
- Act as a point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
- Perform administrative tasks
- Complete any tasks assigned by the Project Executive in an efficient and timely manner
- Perform other duties assigned by the Project Executive orderly and efficiently
Requirements and skills:
- Proven work experience or similar role
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Tech savvy, proficient in Microsoft Office
- Highly organized and able to multitask and oversee several tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
- Excellent time-management skills and able to work under tight deadlines
- An ability to prepare schedules and step-by-step action plans
This role would suit someone who is organized, detail-oriented, an effective communicator and dependable. You must be able to manage multiple project deliverables and have solid people communication skills. A keen eye for design and a creative passion and flair would be an advantage.
This role is based in Umhlanga and requires a valid drivers licence and your own transport.
