Hire Resolve's client, a reputable mining company, is seeking an experienced ADT Operator to join their team in the mining industry. As an ADT Operator, you will play a critical role in the mining operations, operating and maintaining the ADT (Articulated Dump Truck) equipment to transport materials safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and control ADT equipment to transport materials
  • Ensure safe loading and unloading of materials onto the truck
  • Perform pre-start checks and routine equipment maintenance
  • Maintain a safe work environment and comply with health and safety regulations
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production targets

Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • 3 years relevant experience
  • ADT operating licence (VOLVO A40G &A60H)
  • Code 10 Driver’s Licence
  • Good understanding of safety protocols and procedures
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Physically fit and able to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Willingness to work in remote locations and on a shift basis
  • Medically Fit
  • Operational knowledge of opencast mining and earth moving equipment
  • Must understand the importance of working safely.
  • No criminal record
  • Must pass the Dover test
