About the Role
Our client is seeking ambitious and driven individuals to join their prestigious Graduate Trainee program in Supply Chain Management, based in Pietermaritzburg . This program is designed to provide comprehensive training and hands-on experience across various facets of supply chain operations, from procurement and logistics to inventory management and distribution. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing inventory levels and ensuring optimal stock rotation to minimize waste.
- Support the procurement team in sourcing and evaluating suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery performance.
- Help coordinate logistics and transportation activities, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Participate in analyzing supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operational flow and customer satisfaction.
- Gain exposure to warehouse management systems and other supply chain technologies.
Requirements
- A completed Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a capacity to work effectively in a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Availability to commence full-time employment in Pietermaritzburg .
