Our client is seeking a skilled Service Technician (Millwright) to support their expanding operations in Paarl. Responsibilities
- Conduct fault-finding, problem-solving, and repairs on machinery.
- Install and commission machinery at client premises.
- Provide ongoing maintenance, servicing, and customer support assistance.
- Attend promptly to mechanical and operational breakdowns.
- Execute equipment rebuilds and general servicing.
- Coordinate and manage Works Orders alongside Customer Support tasks.
- Provide technical support to various internal departments.
- Deliver customer training and conduct routine machine assessments.
- Maintain strict adherence to quality control, quality assurance, and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Solid technical skills with a focus on fault-finding and machinery repairs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Reliable with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work on-site in Paarl.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of C programming language.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
