The Opportunity

We’re looking for an exceptional Founder & Executive Coordinator to work directly with the Chairman / CEO and Portfolio COO across a portfolio of businesses, brands, investments and strategic projects.

This is not a conventional Executive Assistant role. It combines high-level executive support with portfolio coordination and project oversight, giving you a broad view of what is happening across the organisation and a meaningful role in keeping senior priorities moving.

You’ll act as a central coordination point between the Founder, COO and key stakeholders — helping ensure priorities remain visible, decisions turn into action, communication flows effectively and important initiatives continue progressing across multiple businesses.

Alongside managing the operational rhythm of both executives, including inboxes, calendars, meetings and follow-ups, you’ll maintain oversight of key projects, decisions, dependencies and deadlines.

A particularly important part of the role is keeping the Founder and COO aligned: understanding what is moving, what is blocked, what requires a decision, and what can be resolved by someone else.

We’re looking for someone who can think ahead, connect the dots and exercise sound judgement. You should understand enough detail to identify risks and gaps, while retaining the wider perspective needed to ensure the right people take ownership.

The question you’ll continually be asking is:

What needs the Chairman or COO’s attention? What can be resolved without them? What is at risk of slipping? Where is ownership unclear? What decision is missing, who needs to speak to whom, and what needs to happen next?

Key Responsibilities

Executive Support & Coordination

  • Provide high-level executive support to both the Chairman / CEO and Portfolio COO.

  • Manage and triage executive inboxes where required, ensuring important correspondence, decisions and follow-ups are surfaced appropriately.

  • Coordinate calendars, meetings and key commitments across both executives.

  • Protect executive time by directing operational matters to the appropriate owners rather than allowing everything to escape unnecessarily.

  • Maintain visibility over commitments made by either executive and ensure the right follow-up takes place.

  • Support clear communication between the Founder and COO so decisions, context and changes in direction are not lost.

  • Identify duplicated effort, conflicting priorities and gaps between executive workstreams.

  • Act as a trusted coordination point for senior stakeholders who need access, input or decisions from either executive.

Portfolio Visibility & Project Coordination

  • Maintain a high-level view of strategic priorities and significant activity across the business portfolio.

  • Give the Founder and COO a shared, reliable view of key projects, risks, decisions and deadlines.

  • Ensure important commitments and actions are captured with clear ownership and next steps.

  • Follow up with executives and project leads to maintain momentum and accountability.

  • Identify and elevate emerging risks or stalled initiatives before they become more serious.

  • Connect teams and stakeholders when cross-functional coordination is needed.

  • Turn complex operational information into concise, useful executive summaries.

  • Help prevent the Founder and COO from becoming unnecessary bottlenecks by ensuring matters are handled at the right level.

Risk, Ownership & Follow-Through

  • Spot when projects are slipping, teams are blocked or decisions are being delayed.

  • Identify situations where ownership is unclear, priorities are competing or important work has gone quiet.

  • Understand enough of the context to assess what is happening and determine who needs to take responsibility.

  • Ensure issues are surfaced with the right information, options and recommended next steps.

  • Track actions through to a clear outcome rather than assuming that a conversation or meeting
