About the Role
Our client, a reputable management consultancy, is seeking a Consultant to focus on Operations Strategy. This hybrid role, centered around Nelspruit , allows for a blend of remote work flexibility and essential in-office/client-site collaboration. You will play a key role in analyzing and improving clients' operational processes, supply chains, and overall business performance. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic assessments of client operational capabilities and performance metrics.
- Develop strategies for operational efficiency, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
- Support the design and implementation of new operational processes and systems.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions for client teams.
- Prepare clear and concise reports and presentations on findings and recommendations.
- Manage project tasks and timelines effectively under the guidance of senior consultants.
- Collaborate with diverse client stakeholders to ensure buy-in and successful change adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
- 2-4 years of experience in operations consulting, process improvement, or a relevant industry role.
- Familiarity with operational frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, SCOR).
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work productively in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and in-office contributions.
- Local knowledge of the business environment in Nelspruit and Mpumalanga is beneficial.
- Willingness to travel locally for client engagements as needed.
