About the Role Our client, a dynamic entity in the Logistics & Warehousing sector, is seeking dedicated and efficient Warehouse Order Pickers to join their busy facility in Bloemfontein, Free State, ZA . This role is fundamental to our client's operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and promptly fulfilled. The Order Picker will be responsible for locating, retrieving, and preparing items for shipment according to order specifications. This hands‑on position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse shelves using order lists or scanning equipment.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Package picked items securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or shipping areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to a supervisor immediately.
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding order picking and warehouse operations.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and understand order lists and product codes.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners and other order picking technology is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Good physical stamina, including the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 20kg regularly.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to work full‑time shifts in Bloemfontein, Free State, ZA.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures.
