About the Role

Our client, a national logistics provider, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote Fleet Dispatcher & Operations Coordinator to manage and coordinate their fleet operations entirely from a remote location. This role is critical for ensuring the seamless dispatch of vehicles, tracking their movements, and providing real-time support to drivers across various regions. The successful candidate will leverage advanced communication and tracking technologies to maintain optimal fleet performance, manage scheduling, and respond to operational challenges. This is a fully remote position, requiring a dedicated home office setup and excellent self-management skills. Key Responsibilities

• Dispatching company vehicles to appropriate locations based on service requests and route optimization.
• Monitoring fleet movements using GPS tracking systems and providing real-time updates to relevant parties.
• Communicating effectively with drivers to provide instructions, updates, and assistance.
• Responding promptly to operational issues, emergencies, and driver requests in a remote setting.
• Maintaining accurate dispatch records, logs, and operational reports.
• Coordinating vehicle maintenance schedules and ensuring drivers adhere to required service intervals.
• Assisting with the planning and scheduling of routes to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Managing communication channels (phone, email, messaging apps) to ensure smooth information flow.
• Troubleshooting and resolving basic logistical and operational challenges remotely.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of dispatch and coordination processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in dispatching, fleet coordination, or logistics operations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with drivers and stakeholders remotely.
