Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Lodge Manager to join a prestigious luxury safari camp in the Sabi Sands. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on hospitality professional who is passionate about luxury service, guest experiences and leading a high-performing team in an exceptional safari environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the lodge, ensuring consistently high standards across all departments.
- Lead, motivate and manage the lodge team, fostering a positive and professional working environment.
- Maintain exceptional standards of guest service and hospitality throughout the guest journey.
- Ensure the smooth coordination of front-of-house, housekeeping, food and beverage and general lodge operations.
- Manage guest feedback and requests professionally, ensuring memorable and personalised experiences.
- Monitor operational standards, stock control, budgets and cost management.
- Work closely with senior management to achieve operational and guest-experience objectives.
- Assist with staff training, development and performance management.
- Ensure all health, safety and company standards are consistently maintained.
- Be actively involved in the overall guest experience and serve as a strong ambassador for the lodge.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Lodge Manager, Assistant Lodge Manager or senior hospitality management position.
- Experience within a luxury safari lodge or camp will be highly advantageous.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- A genuine passion for luxury hospitality and guest service.
- Ability to work calmly and effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment.
- Strong operational and financial awareness.
- Professional, personable and hands-on approach.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to lead by example.
