Limited Duration Contract for a period of three (3) months, based at the Bigen Bloemfontein Office. Qualifications and required

skills:
• Candidate must have a National Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Experience in tender administration, tender evaluation, construction-related documentation, procurement processes or civil engineering projects will be advantageous.
• Be able to work accurately with large volumes of tender documentation.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
• Be able to work independently and as part of a tender evaluation team.
• Candidate must reside in Bloemfontein or the surrounding suburbs within the Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality (MMM) operating boundary.
• Candidate must be able to travel to and work from the Bigen Bloemfontein office daily for the duration of the tender evaluation process.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word. Responsibilities The successful candidate will provide technical and administrative support to the tender evaluation team, including:
• Reviewing tender submissions against prescribed administrative and responsiveness requirements.
• Reviewing applicable MDB/MBD forms, declarations and procurement requirements.
• Assisting with verification of tenderer eligibility, including CSD, SARS/tax compliance, CIPC and other prescribed requirements.
• Assisting with verification of CIDB grading and tenderer eligibility.
• Reviewing and verifying minimum requirements relating to proposed key personnel.
• Reviewing minimum plant and equipment requirements and supporting documentation.
• Assisting with the evaluation of company and personnel experience.
• Capturing and verifying tender evaluation information and scores.
• Assisting with reference verification and maintaining the applicable verification registers.
• Assisting with the capture and assessment of tendered prices and Bills of Quantities.
• Identifying omissions, discrepancies and arithmetic errors in tender submissions.
• Assisting with the evaluation of preference-point/specific-goal information.
• Maintaining accurate evaluation records and supporting schedules.
• Assisting with general tender evaluation administration and document control.
• Performing other related duties required to support the tender evaluation process.
• The successful candidate will be required to maintain strict confidentiality and will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement prior to commencing work. Remuneration: Remuneration negotiable and based on the candidates' qualifications and years of relevant experience.
