About LXA
LXA is a marketing, technology and AI learning business. We help global brands build marketing capability across AI, data, martech, CX and digital transformation through training, research and live events, including AntiCon, our series of B2B marketing events. Our community includes more than 200,000 marketing, sales and technology professionals.
We produce learning content for our own library and for enterprise clients: video modules, SCORM and xAPI packages, interactive widgets and workbooks, alongside webinar, event and research assets.
The role
As Head of Content, you'll own learning content production end to end: the people, the workflow, the standards and the tooling. You'll shape the production process, build out the in-house, freelance and agency team that delivers it, and make sure briefs become finished assets on time, on budget and to standard.
You'll work closely with engineering, marketing, client success, product and brand teams, and join client meetings where production expertise is needed. LXA's marketing team owns brand voice, and you'll work to their standards.
What you'll do
• Design the production workflow and decide which roles sit in-house, with freelancers or with agencies.
• Build out and manage the team: AI video editors, writers, designers, instructional designers and agency partners.
• Run the production pipeline, briefs and schedules across client and internal work, and keep every project within budget.
• Set the quality standard for each asset type and run QA before anything reaches a client, including accessibility and LMS tracking.
• Apply LXA's AI policy, and each client's, to every asset, and build regulatory review steps into schedules for clients in regulated sectors.
• Make sure every module applies sound instructional design, and own SCORM and xAPI packaging and testing.
• Run our HeyGen workflows and introduce generative AI where it saves time or improves budget efficiency without lowering the standard.
• Manage our content library: naming, metadata, versioning and storage, so any asset can be found and reused.
• Document production processes and report monthly on throughput, schedule adherence and budget efficiency. What you'll bring
• At least 7 years in learning or training content production, including leading a production team.
• Experience hiring and managing in-house and freelance teams, and managing agencies.
• A working grasp of instructional design principles.
• Comfort creating content for highly regulated industries such as pharma and legal, under strict AI and compliance policies.
• Advanced generative AI skills across text, image, video and voice.
• Hands-on experience with an AI video platform such as HeyGen, Articulate Rise and Storyline, and SCORM delivery to an LMS or LXP.
• Enough understanding of HTML5 interactive content to brief, review and test it.
• Clear, precise writing, and a record of delivering to budget and schedule. Experience creating xAPI content would be an advantage.
What we offer
• Ownership of a function you'll shape and build out from the start.
• Work on live enterprise programmes for senior global clients.
• A budget for the AI tools the work needs.
• 26 days' holiday.
• An early finish on Fridays.
How to apply
Email careers@lxahub.com with your CV and two or three examples of learning content you've produced or led. Links are fine. If your work is under NDA, send a short description of the project and your role instead. Please use the subject line "Head of Content". Our process has five stages and usually takes two to three weeks: a 15 to 20 minute screening call, an interview with our Managing Director, an interview with our CEO, a practical task and a final interview. Interviews last 30 to 60 minutes. For the practical task, you'll have a three-hour window to complete work designed to take no more than an hour. Any follow-up questions or a presentation of the task take place in the final interview. We use AI tools to assess applications against the requirements in this ad before the screening call. A person reviews every assessment and makes every hiring decision. We welcome applications from everyone. If you need any adjustments during the process, tell us and we'll make them. We use your personal information only to assess your application.
