Salary:
R23 000 – R25 000 per month Remote Recruitment is hiring a Social Media Assistant for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa, owning the daily social media calendar. Role overviewYou will keep a UK brand active and engaging online. You will schedule posts, create simple graphics, reply to comments and report on what works across the main platforms.
Key responsibilities
• Schedule and publish posts across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok
• Create simple graphics and short videos
• Respond to comments and messages in the brand voice
• Track engagement and report weekly on results
• Research trends and content ideas
What you'll need
• Experience managing social media for a brand or business
• Experience with Canva and a scheduler such as Metricool or Buffer
• Strong written English and an eye for good content
• Basic understanding of social media analytics
• Reliability with deadlines Nice to have
• Experience editing short video with CapCut
• Familiarity with paid social basics
• Experience writing captions for a UK audience What's on offerThis is a full-time, 100% remote role working UK hours, 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST). You will join a friendly UK team, receive clear onboarding and support, and work with a company that values reliability, communication and growth. We are looking for South African talent who want a stable remote career with a UK employer. Day to day you will use modern, cloud-based tools, so you can work from home with the equipment you already have.
