Introduction

An Agritalent client, a leading agribusiness, seeks a Senior Grain Grader To provide support to the Silo Manager with regards to the operation of the Silo and determining the grade of commodities (grain) in a fair and ethical manner.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

 

  • Grading of Commodities (Grain);
  • Control over stock;
  • Management of administration;
  • Comply with safety regulations as well as that of food safety.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Requirements:

              

  • Grade 12;
  • 3 Years relevant experience;
  • Relevant post matric qualification an advantage;
  • Grain Grading courses successfully completed;
  • Experience in food safety an added advantage;
  • Valid driver’s license.

 

Skills:

 

  • Sound communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English;
  • Computer literate (MS Office);
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Strong physical health in order to do the work (to be able to climb the Silo etc);
  • Strong administrative skills;
  • Must be prepared to work long hours.
