Introduction

We are looking for a Software Engineering Team Lead for a client of ours based in the Southern Suburbs, Cape Town. This is a hybrid position.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience, with at least 5 years of development/coding experience and at least 3 years of team leadership experience. The relevant tech stack includes C#, .NET, .NET Core, Angular, Vue or React, and microservices.

Experience augmenting AI within applications is also necessary, as well as experience with Research and Development/innovation.

We are looking for someone who is not only technically competent, but who also considers themselves a "Servant Leader".

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Team leadership and collaboration.
  • Mentor and motivate both junior and intermediate developers.
  • Promote product development and delivery.
  • Work with the latest and innovative technologies.
  • Guide the team in adopting and delivering AI-enabled solutions.
  • Manage team KPIs and expectations.
  • Contribute to the full SDLC from ideation through to release.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • A Degree or BTech (IT-related).
  • 8+ years designing and building software applications using C# .NET, .NET Core, Angular, Vue or React, REST and microservices.
  • Experience with the full SDLC from ideation through to release.
  • Experience with Azure.
  • Experience augmenting AI within applications.
  • Experience with Git.
  • A people-focused leader who likes to problem-solve.
  • Must be Cape Town based.
