Duties & Responsibilities

To be a sales consultant in the Fourways store and as such your duties encompass the sales /promotion of the companies range of products together with the members of your team.

As the sales consultant of the Fourways store you are primarily responsible:

  • To achieve your sales budget as issued to you on a yearly basis
  • To ensure the store is kept clean and tidy at all times
  • To ensure displays are always current and up to date
  • To promote, sell and secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
  • Demonstrates products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
  • Makes telephone calls, personal visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers including contractors, architects and designers
  • Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers and share knowledge and train your team accordingly
  • Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
  • Identifies advantages and compares organization’s products/services.
  • Participates in trade shows and conventions as and when required
  • To submit sales and progress reports on all leads etc as required:
  • Implement and follow required sales/administrative procedures for invoicing out of stock items as stipulated by company policies

 

PERFORMANCE

  • Measured against budgets set by the company – a minimum achievement of 80% is expected of your personal GP budget . If your sales figures are below the 80% mark for more than 3 months , the company has the right  to adjust your basic salary in accordance with your % of budget achievement.

Package & Remuneration

Salary package: R20k basic + Commission on sales + standard benefits (basic subject to previous experience and skill level)
