Your Role:
- Register, assess, and process gap cover claims in line with policy terms and conditions.
- Verify documentation, policy details, and underlying insurer responses.
- Communicate with clients, brokers, and service providers regarding claim progress.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and claims administration.
- Identify claim shortfalls, exclusions, and required supporting documents.
- Maintain turnaround times and deliver high-quality customer service.
- Escalate complex claims or irregularities to senior consultants or management.
- Assist with general administration and claims reporting when required.
Qualifications:
Certificates/Certification:Class of Business Commercial Lines, RE 5, FETC In Short Term Insurance NQF 4, Matric
Skills & Experience:
1-2 years’ experience in short-term insurance in claimsStrong administrative and communication skills
Computer literate (MS Office; experience with claims systems advantageous)
Ability to work accurately under pressure and manage multiple cases
Assist with general administration and claims reporting when required
