Introduction

The Campus Sales Manager is responsible for leading student recruitment and sales activities across an assigned campus or campus area. The role focuses on achieving enrolment targets through school engagement, relationship building, event planning, lead generation and effective sales team management.

Duties & Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

School Relationships and Business Development

  • Build and maintain relationships with school principals, teachers, career counsellors, parents, learners and community partners.

  • Identify and prioritise schools and community channels to increase student recruitment.

  • Arrange regular school visits and follow up with schools to maintain strong relationships.

  • Identify opportunities to expand recruitment activities into new schools and communities.

Sales and Activity Management

  • Set daily, weekly and monthly sales activity targets for the team.

  • Monitor school visits, presentations, calls, applications, registrations and follow-ups.

  • Approve weekly activity plans and ensure that planned activities are completed.

  • Monitor leads and ensure potential students are contacted within the required timeframes.

  • Track sales performance and implement corrective actions where targets are not being achieved.

Recruitment Events and Marketing

  • Develop and maintain an annual recruitment calendar.

  • Coordinate school visits, career days, expos, open days, parent evenings and campus events.

  • Manage event logistics, staffing, promotional materials and lead collection.

  • Ensure all leads generated through events are recorded and followed up.

  • Maintain promotional materials and ensure that marketing activities follow approved brand guidelines.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, motivate and manage Higher Education Consultants.

  • Set performance targets and conduct regular performance reviews.

  • Assist with recruitment, selection, onboarding and training of new employees.

  • Monitor attendance, performance and productivity.

  • Provide guidance and support to improve sales performance and team development.

  • Oversee the daily activities of Business Development Consultants on assigned campuses in coordination with their line manager.

Reporting and Administration

  • Monitor the recruitment pipeline, including leads, applications, registrations and enrolments.

  • Maintain accurate customer and school information on the CRM system.

  • Prepare weekly sales reports covering activities, results, events and potential challenges.

  • Work with marketing, finance, student administration and campus management to improve recruitment results.

  • Ensure recruitment activities and the handling of personal information comply with applicable requirements.

Desired Experience & Qualification

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, Education or a related field.

  • 3–5 years of sales or student recruitment experience.

  • At least 2 years of experience managing a sales team.

  • Experience in higher education or school recruitment will be advantageous.

  • Experience planning and coordinating events, expos or field marketing activities.

  • Experience using CRM systems.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

  • Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle.

  • Willingness to travel between campuses and attend recruitment events.
