RPO Recruitment’s client, a well-established civil construction contractor is seeking an experienced Civil Site Agent / Construction Manager to oversee and manage a civil engineering project in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) on a 12-month contract basis.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring that construction activities are completed safely, within budget and according to the required quality standards and project programme.
Requirements:
- National Diploma or BTech in Civil Engineering.
- Professionally registered as a Pr CM with SACPCMP (essential).
- Proven experience in a Site Agent or Construction Management capacity within the civil construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction project management, site administration, cost control and subcontractor management.
- Proficiency in CCS Candy is essential.
- Sound knowledge of construction health and safety requirements and quality management standards.
- Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
