Job Advert Summary

As a Junior Industrial Engineer in Optix’s Enterprise Systems team, you will blend business analysis, stakeholder engagement, project management, and enterprise system support. A key focus will be supporting and improving our Salesforce Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) processes and systems, alongside Salesforce and NetSuite.

You will contribute to the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise systems, and play an active role in system rollouts, enhancements, and process optimisation initiatives.

The role provides hands-on exposure to enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives, with the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders. As you grow in capability and experience, you will have the opportunity to progress into more advanced roles — including Senior Systems Analyst, Solution Architect, or Project Lead — shaping the way technology enables our business.

Key Objective: To support and continuously improve Optix’s enterprise systems — with a focus on Salesforce CPQ, Salesforce, and NetSuite — so that teams across the business have accurate, efficient, and well-supported tools that help get drivers safely home.

Impact & Scale

You will be contributing to systems used by teams across 15 departments and supporting enterprise platforms managing millions in annual transactions. This role provides a hands-on opportunity to shape how technology drives operational excellence across the organisation.

While this role focuses on optimising our internal systems and processes, these systems are critical to delivering reliable service to our customers. Efficient and well-supported enterprise systems ensure that we can provide drivers with the tools and support they need to get SAFELY HOME.

Duties & Responsibilities

Business Analysis and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional system solutions.
  • Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to identify pain points, particularly around quoting and order-to-cash processes.
  • Support user adoption and training during new implementations and process changes.

System Solutioning and Support

  • Assist in Salesforce configuration, solutioning, and troubleshooting.
  • Play a key role in CPQ system support and improvement, ensuring quoting processes are accurate, efficient, and aligned with business needs.
  • Provide support to the NetSuite administrator as required.
  • Collaborate with system specialists to test and validate enhancements.
  • Maintain process documentation and system-related guides.

Project Mangement and Implementations

  • Support the planning and execution of new system designs, enhancements, and go-lives.
  • Track deliverables, timelines, and risks in collaboration with project managers.
  • Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing, and post-go-live stabilisation activities.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify inefficiencies in current processes and systems (with a focus on CPQ, Salesforce, and NetSuite) and recommend improvements.
  • Support automation and simplification initiatives to enhance productivity and scalability.
  • Work with business teams to ensure systems remain aligned with evolving needs.
  • Contribute to improving the operations of the Enterprise Systems department — including how we manage support, prioritise projects, track performance, and deliver value to the business.
  • Assist in documenting and standardising internal Enterprise Systems processes to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.

Key Outcomes

Success in this role will be measured by:

  • Accurate, efficient, and well-supported CPQ quoting processes
  • Business requirements clearly documented and translated into working system solutions
  • Successful and timely support of system rollouts, enhancements, and go-lives
  • Process and system improvements identified and implemented across CPQ, Salesforce, and NetSuite
  • Up-to-date process documentation and system guides
  • Stakeholder satisfaction and user adoption of new systems and processes
  • Growth in technical capability and contribution to the Enterprise Systems team
