Introduction

We are looking for a meticulous Network Administrator to provide technical support to Tuhf Capital's IT systems, hardware and software users.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Helpdesk & Technical Support

  • Provide first-line IT support by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware, software, network, and user-related issues.
  • Prepare and configure computers, hardware, software, and user devices for new and existing employees.
  • Support and maintain electronic office equipment, including printers and related peripherals.
  • Monitor and manage consumable stock levels for printers and office equipment.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs with external service providers.
  • Deliver user training and guidance on IT systems, software, and equipment.

2. Application Support

  • Test newly developed systems and enhancements and provide feedback on system performance and functionality.
  • Investigate and resolve system workflow, application, and data-related issues.
  • Liaise with service providers to implement and validate corrective actions.
  • Perform system administration functions, including report generation and maintenance of system metadata.
  • Participate in IT projects by providing technical input, recommendations, and user support.
  • Develop and deliver training materials to improve user adoption and system proficiency.

3. Network Administration & Maintenance

  • Set up and manage user accounts, email access, passwords, and network permissions.
  • Maintain accurate records of hardware and software assets.
  • Support network infrastructure maintenance by monitoring system performance, downtime, and server issues.
  • Apply system updates, patches, and configuration changes to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Implement and maintain data security controls, including user access management and backup processes.
  • Monitor and resolve network-related issues while maintaining network documentation and configurations.
  • Support maintenance of servers, ancillary equipment, and other IT infrastructure.

4. IT Security & Data Protection

  • Administer user rights and access controls to ensure compliance with security requirements.
  • Implement network security measures and backup procedures to safeguard business data.
  • Monitor security-related issues and ensure adherence to IT policies and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of network and system configurations.

5. Vendor & Service Provider Management

  • Liaise with external IT service providers and suppliers to resolve technical issues and coordinate support services.
  • Monitor service quality and ensure timely resolution of IT-related incidents.
  • Support procurement and maintenance activities for IT equipment and services.

6. Administration & Financial Control

  • Reconcile IT-related service contracts, usage records, and invoices.
  • Verify and approve invoices against approved quotations and service agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets, contracts, and support activities.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Must have completed an MCSE, A+ and N+ or similar qualifications
Must have at least 3 years’ experience in providing technical support to users
