Responsibilities:
- Attention to detail and neatness of both new installations and maintenance.
- Adhering to all safety and performance standards.
- Apply the South African National Electrical Code and Local Building Regulations.
- Apply the South African Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.
Requirements:
- Grade 12/High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous training and experience with an accredited electrical company.
- Completion of an Electrician Apprenticeship Program or related vocational training preferred.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to adapt quickly to change.
- Own transport.
- Must reside in the Boland Area.
- Good communication skills.
- Resolves issues quickly and efficiently.
- Learning to manage materials.
- Knowledge of the installation and maintenance of solar panels and associated equipment.
- Familiarity with Electrical Codes and Standards in South Africa.
- Willingness to work after hours at short notice.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and on-call as needed.
- Willingness to work weekends and on public holidays.
Remuneration:
- R5 600 per month.
