The purpose of this role is to support the efficient operation of the warehouse by ensuring accurate handling, storage, and movement of stock. The role involves maintaining organised inventory, assisting with receiving and dispatching goods, and ensuring a clean, safe, and well-managed warehouse environment to support overall business operations.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Picking, packing, and checking stock accurately.
- Replenishing stock as needed to maintain inventory levels.
- Maintaining general warehouse housekeeping and cleanliness.
- Loading and unloading products safely and efficiently.
- Handling delicate and fragile products with care.
- Assisting with receiving stock and verifying that deliveries are correct.
- Preparing products for shipment or delivery when required.
- Assisting with deliveries and collections to and from customers when necessary.
- Grade 12/Matric (or equivalent)
- Warehouse and distribution working experience (highly beneficial).
- Forklift certification (highly beneficial).
- Computer literate (Advantage).
- Able to work in a team.
- Good command of the English language.
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent Mathematical and literacy skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Good time management skills.
- Dependable individual.
- A high level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical behaviour dealing with confidential information
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items when required.
- Basic knowledge of stock control and inventory processes.
- Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Ability to handle fragile and delicate items with care.
- Basic problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience (advantageous but not essential).
