Introduction

The Junior Dealer Consultant will be responsible for growing Warranties market share by building and maintaining strong business relationships with motor dealerships. The role involves visiting different dealerships; therefore it is not office based on a daily basis.

Duties & Responsibilities

Prospect for new motor dealerships within the assigned area
• Build and maintain strong relationships with dealerships
• Generate new sales through dealer accounts
• Grow sales volumes by assisting dealers to sell VAPS and insurance more effectively
• Drive area sales and profit targets
• Maintain strong relationships with existing dealers and identify new clients
• Negotiate contracts with clients
• Upsell and cross-sell products where possible
• Maintain strong product knowledge
• Maintain competitor product knowledge
• Train dealerships and workshops on products, claims processes and procedures
• Use sales reports to monitor performance and identify growth opportunities
• Interact with F and I staff at dealerships
• Address underperformance at dealerships
• Deliver excellent customer service
• Create and maintain a structured call plan
• Educate dealership employees on product benefits
• Manage dealer sales, claims and loss ratios

Desired Experience & Qualification

Matric or Grade 12
• Own reliable and roadworthy vehicle
• Must be comfortable travelling to different dealerships
• Strong sales ability
• Strong relationship management skills
• Experience in B2B relationship management will be an advantage
• Knowledge of the motor dealer space
• Must be computer literate
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English and Afrikaans
• Must be able to work independently
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good email and telephone etiquette
• Self-starter with strong drive and determination
• Must be able to handle pressure

Package & Remuneration

R20 500 basic salary plus commission
