Introduction

An established and growing company specialising in shop fitting, installations and the manufacturing of unique, customised products is seeking a capable and detail-oriented Financial General Manager to join its team.

This role is suited to a financially minded professional with five or more years of relevant experience who is looking to lead the financial and operational performance of a growing manufacturing business specialising in premium wellness products. The ideal candidate will be organised, analytical and comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead financial management, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and management reporting.
  • Drive profitability through effective costing, margin management and financial controls.
  • Oversee procurement, stock, production, installations and operational delivery.
  • Improve productivity, quality, cost control and overall business efficiency.
  • Lead and develop departmental managers, driving performance and accountability.
  • Implement and optimise business systems, processes and reporting structures.

Provide strategic financial and operational insight to the Directors

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Proven experience in a combined Financial Management and General/Operations Management role.
  • Strong financial expertise in budgeting, cash flow, management accounts, costing and profitability.
  • Experience within manufacturing, production, engineering, installation or a related industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, streamline operations and implement effective systems.
  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical ability and business systems proficiency.
  • Relevant Finance, Accounting, Commerce or Business Management qualification preferred.
  • Experience with Xero, inventory management, production costing and integrated operational systems advantageous.
