Are you an experienced Maintenance Supervisor with a strong technical background and hands-on experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment? This opportunity is suited to a reliable, solutions-driven professional who can take ownership of plant maintenance, respond effectively to breakdowns, and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently while supporting production teams to minimise downtime.

Duties & Responsibilities


Job Description:
  • Coordinate and perform preventative maintenance activities across plant equipment and machinery
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and ensure faults are resolved efficiently to minimise production downtime
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential mechanical and electrical problems before failure occurs
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical faults
  • Ensure production equipment remains reliable and operates according to required performance standards
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
  • Work closely with production teams to coordinate maintenance activities around operational requirements
  • Identify recurring equipment issues and contribute to long-term corrective solutions
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving equipment reliability and plant performance
  • Ensure maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with health and safety requirements
  • Maintain a safe, organised, and efficient working environment
Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years' maintenance experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding capabilities
  • Experience with preventative maintenance and machine breakdowns
  • Sound understanding of industrial machinery and production equipment
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to respond effectively to breakdowns and time-sensitive maintenance requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to equipment reliability
  • Ability to work effectively within a production-driven environment
  • Reliable and organised with a hands-on approach
  • Comfortable working under pressure when dealing with equipment breakdowns and production demands
  • Strong health and safety awareness
Qualification:
  • Trade Test qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Millwright trade
  • N3 / N4 qualification will be advantageous
