An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join a well-established engineering consultancy's Mechanical team based in Cape Town
Requirements:
- BEng or BTech in Mechanical Engineering
- 3 to 5 years of relevant engineering experience — building services industry experience is essential
- Perform mechanical building services design across a range of commercial, retail, residential, and industrial projects
- Produce engineering calculations, technical specifications, and design documentation
- Ability to conduct site inspections and engage confidently with contractors and consultants on site
- Exposure to rational fire design will be a distinct advantage
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A team player who collaborates well and contributes positively to a shared goal
- Well-organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage tasks and deadlines effectively
- Valid driver's license
