Health & Environmental Officer

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

 Overseeing the Environmental Performance of the site

 Develop, implement and monitor Environmental strategies

 Drafting of policies & programmes to promote sustainability of the Plant

 Ensuring compliance with appropriate environmental Legislation

 Conduct Environmental Audits and Assessments and identifying areas of improvement

 Register and investigate environmental complaints

 Liaise with appropriate government authorities

 Co-ordination of Pollution control, waste management and environmental issues.

 Advise senior management on identified environmental impacts

 Maintain the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System

 Issue timely environmental reports to senior management  Oversee environmental monitoring and reporting thereof

 Monitor environmental costs according to budget
