Are you a detail-driven finance professional with strong stock and inventory accounting experience? Our client, a well-established and growing organization based in Green Point, is looking for an ambitious Assistant Financial Controller to support financial operations and contribute to the continued success of the business.
This opportunity is ideal for a candidate looking to accelerate their career within a dynamic environment where financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and commercial awareness are highly valued.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with monthly management accounts and financial reporting
  • Perform stock reconciliations and inventory variance analysis
  • Support month-end and year-end financial processes
  • Ensure accuracy of inventory costing and stock controls
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support audit processes and compliance requirements
  • Identify and implement process improvements within the finance function
Job experience and Skill Required
  • Relevant Accounting or Finance Degree
  • Minimum 2 years' relevant accounting experience
  • Strong stock/inventory accounting experience (non-negotiable)
  • Excellent reconciliation and reporting skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial systems
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
