We have a current opportunity for a Lead Telecoms Engineer on a contract basis. The position will be based in Surrey (office based 4.5 days a week).Outside of IR35Start Date – January 2026 Duration – 12 months  Due to PAFF’ing requirements, candidates need to have either a Mechanical degree, along with a Membership cert.Review / provide guidance for preparation of all discipline engineering and design deliverables such as Design Basis, specifications, datasheets, BOM, Equipment location Plan, JB and Cable schedule, 3D model, Block and Schematics drawings etcComplete or review calculations for: CCTV, PAGA, Radio, Telephone lines etc.Provide guidance/work on field equipment’s (Cameras, Speaker, Call station, Tower, Turnstile, Road Barrier, Hotline and Analogue Telephone) etc.Prepare / provide guidance for preparation of Telecom Network Architecture (Overall Block Diagram, Interfaces etc) design, procurement and implementationReview installation and location designFor further information about this position please apply.Our role in supporting diversity and inclusion As an international workforce business, we are committed to sourcing personnel that reflects the diversity and values of our client base but also that of Orion Group.
