Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Operations Manager located in Houghton, Johannesburg. The Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day operational activities, manage workflows, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Responsibilities include supervising employees, monitoring KPIs, improving operational processes, and contributing to team development. The role involves maintaining high standards of productivity and managing resources effectively while making decisions to enhance performance and achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Leadership and Management: Strong skills in team supervision, workflow management, and the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
  • Operational Expertise: Experience in optimizing processes, monitoring KPIs, and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Analytical skills with a proven ability to identify issues, evaluate solutions, and implement improvements.
  • Communication and Interpersonal: Excellent communication skills for interacting with teams and stakeholders, and the ability to foster collaboration.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with operational tools/software and a willingness to adapt to new technologies.
  • Academic and Professional Background: A Bachelor's degree is preferred in Operations Management, or related field and prior experience in a managerial role.
  • Preferred Experience: Knowledge of South African labor laws and previous work experience in the outsourcing or staffing industry.
