QA Test Analyst

Who's who in the tech space
This role reports to the QA Test Manager.

The Role
As a QA Analyst 3, you are an advanced individual contributor who combines strong testing execution skills with analytical depth. You own testing for complex features or domains, define test strategies and guide others in applying sound QA principles. You collaborate with engineers, product managers and automation specialists to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards, across functional, integration and exploratory testing. Work closely with the Team and QA Manager to ensure quality is implemented as part of the processes and that quality standards are adhered to.

Your mission should you choose to accept it:

• Own test analysis and design for your feature or domain area.
• Create, maintain and execute detailed test plans and cases for web and API.
• Partner with engineers and automation engineers to ensure comprehensive test coverage and efficient test pipelines.
• Identify risks early and design mitigation strategies.
• Perform exploratory testing and identify improvement opportunities in our test processes.
• Analyse issues, log defects with clear reproduction steps and drive root-cause discussions with engineers.
• Support automation by providing test data, cases and guidance on integration coverage.
• Mentor QA Analysts on testing best practices, analysis and reporting.
• Contribute to team retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Ability to work efficiently both independently and within the team
• The ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to analyse and solve complex problems quickly and creatively.

Qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 4-6 years of experience as a QA Analyst or Software Tester, ideally in an agile environment.
• Experience in functional, integration and API testing across multiple environments.
• Exposure to automation tools such as Robot Framework, Playwright, Postman, Bruno.
• Proficiency with Jira, XRay test management system and working knowledge of SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to influence across product and engineering teams.
• A passion for quality, you take ownership of the systems you test and the experience they deliver.
