JOB ADVERT: PLANT MANAGER

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our production facility.

The successful candidate will ensure efficient production, maintain high quality standards, and lead the workforce to achieve operational targets in a safe and well-organised environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily plant operations, workforce scheduling, and production output.
  • Oversee processes and ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Implement and maintain health & safety procedures.
  • Monitor inventory, material usage, and waste reduction.
  • Train, guide, and supervise staff to build a strong and efficient team.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure necessary repairs and servicing are carried out.
  • Report on production performance and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or plant/production management role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
  • Basic knowledge of machinery maintenance and safety regulations.
  • Computer literacy for reporting and administrative tasks.
