Health & Safety Officer - Construction Industry

Hire Resolve's client in the construction industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Health & Safety Officer in Wellington.
Responsibilities:
- Compile Safety Plans / Files
- Conduct Internal Auditing
- Provide Site training (Induction, Toolbox talks, Risk Assessments, etc.)
- Ensure Construction Sites operate within the confines of the H&S Act and Construction Regulations
- Liaise with Client Agents
Requirements:
- 3 - 5 years' experience in Health & Safety in the Construction Industry
- Ability to work independently
- Attention to detail oriented
- Sound knowledge of the Occupational H&S Act / Construction Regulations
- Stay updated with the latest changes in terms of H&S as promulgated from time to time
- Matric/Grade 12
- SACPCMP Registration
- Incident Investigator certification
- Risk Assessor certification
- Fall Protection certification
- Legal Liability certification
