Mine in Hotazel NC is looking for a Milwright SALARY: Between R P.A and We are seeking a qualified and experienced Millwright to join ourmaintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsiblefor the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair ofmechanical and electrical equipment to ensure optimal plantperformance and minimal downtime.Responsibility:Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance onall mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.• Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot faults on machinery,including conveyors, crushers, pumps, motors, gearboxes, andcompressors.• Install, align, and commission new mechanical and electricalequipment according to engineering specifications.• Conduct fault-finding on control panels, electrical circuits, andmotor control systems.• Maintain and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems to ensureoptimal functionality.• Perform condition monitoring and vibration analysis to detectpotential failures early.• Support production teams by providing technical assistanceduring plant start-ups and shutdowns.•• Execute planned maintenance schedules and participate inplanned shutdowns and major overhauls.• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company safetystandards, ISO systems, and the Mine Health and Safety Act.• Complete all job cards, work orders, and maintenance reportsaccurately in the CMMS system (SAP/Pragma).• Participate in root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and implementcorrective and preventive actions.• Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop areas in good workingcondition and ensure housekeeping standards are met.• Assist in energy-saving initiatives and continuous improvementprojects.• Calibrate and test instrumentation and equipment to maintainoperational accuracy.• Train and mentor apprentices and assistants to enhance teamcapability.• Respond promptly to breakdowns and ensure minimal productiondisruptions.• Collaborate with production, and safety personnel to enhanceplant reliability and safety performance.• Support implementation of Lean Maintenance and reliability-centred maintenance (RCM) strategies.> Minimum Requirements:Trade Test Certificate: Millwright (Red Seal).• N2 - N4 Certificate or higher in Electrical/MechanicalEngineering.Skills:Minimum 3–5 years' experience in an open cast or undergroundmining environment.• Sound knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics,and mechanical drives.• Understanding of PLC systems and fault-finding will be anadvantage.• Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to work shifts,standby, and overtime when required.• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuousimprovement.
