Civil Engineer / Structural Designer

Netherlands (On-site) | Full-time | Civil & Infrastructure

Are you a Civil Engineer or Technical Designer with hands-on experience in construction design and 2D/3D drafting?

We are looking for professionals who enjoy working on buildings and infrastructure projects, translating engineering concepts into clear, buildable designs.

You will work in multidisciplinary teams on projects such as foundations, concrete structures, steel structures, bridges, and civil infrastructure, supporting both design and execution phases.

What you'll be doing:

  • Designing and detailing civil and structural works, including foundations, concrete structures, steel elements, and infrastructure components
  • Preparing and updating 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, or similar tools
  • Supporting engineers and project teams with constructability reviews and design coordination
  • Assisting with technical documentation, quantities, and drawing packages
  • Coordinating designs with contractors and other engineering disciplines

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 2–5 years experience in civil/structural design or construction engineering
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or 3D design tools (Revit, Tekla, Civil 3D, etc.)
  • Understanding of construction methods, materials, and structural principles
  • Practical, detail-oriented mindset
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in project teams
  • Fluent in English (Afrikaans is a huge plus as Afrikaans is similar to Dutch)

What we offer:

1–2 year contract (with potential for long-term employment)

Salary: €3000–€4200 depending on experience
