Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber Technician to join our project team on a freelance basis. The ideal candidate must be experienced in plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance work across residential, commercial, or construction project environments. This role is project-oriented, and the plumber will be contracted and paid per project rendered. The successful candidate is free to render services outside the company while maintaining project quality and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute plumbing work for company projects, including installations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Interpret technical drawings, project specifications, and material requirements.
• Ensure adherence to plumbing standards, safety protocols, and building regulations.
• Conduct site assessments to identify plumbing needs, scope of work, and project requirements.
• Provide accurate estimations of materials and time needed for assigned tasks.
• Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other technicians to deliver quality work.
• Troubleshoot plumbing faults and recommend effective, long-lasting solutions.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and professionalism on all assignments.
• Ensure all work areas are left clean, safe, and orderly after project completion.
• Submit project completion reports, where required.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Trade Test Certificate in Plumbing (proof required).
• Updated Curriculum Vitae showcasing relevant experience.
• Copy of valid ID.
• Minimum 3–5 years practical plumbing experience (installation, repairs, construction projects).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Own basic plumbing tools and equipment (advantageous).
• Must have traceable references.
• Must be punctual, reliable, and committed to delivering quality work.
